Content and Community Lead
Our focus for this release has been on enhancing some of the functionality in the system for recruiter and admin users.
Across all modules, we have introduced the ability to copy content, be that events, groups, news or forms, if you have permission to create content, you can now use any previously published piece of content as a template for creating your own.
We have also introduced the ability to allow certain communities to edit the profiles of others. This functionality has different applications across different use cases, in a recruitment context for example, this allows recruiters who are talking to Talent members to update their contact information or latest work experience record on the candidate's behalf.
We have also introduced the ability to sort members of groups and events by date of joining, allowing group owners to easily see their new members and welcome them.
Ability to copy existing content to create new
It is now possible for a user, with permission to create content, to copy any previously published content. This applies to events, news, groups, forms and jobs. You do not need to be the owner of the historical content in order to copy it. The copy option can be accessed via the settings (3 dots) button on each piece of content.
Ability for admin/recruiter users to edit the profile of members
We have introduced a new community settings option that enables a particular community to edit the profiles of members of one or more other communities. This functionality has a number of different applications. In the recruitment and talent pipelining space it could be used by recruiters to add contact information, work experience records and social media links to a talent member’s profile. In onboarding it could be used by HR administrators to populate an Onboarder’s record. This setting is off by default for all communities. If you would like to enable it, please speak to your Hollaroo contact.
Ability to sort people on groups and events by joining date
In order to help group and event owners easily find and welcome new members, we have introduced a sort field on the members/guests tab in groups and events. As well as being able to sort alphabetically you can now sort members by the date they joined the group or event, with the most recent joiners shown first.
Smaller Changes
Sort order when adding a user(s) to an event - Events will now appear in date order when you add users to an event, making it quicker to find the event you want to add someone to.
Sort order when adding a user(s) to a group - Groups will now appear in alphabetical order when you add users to a group, making it quicker to find the event you want to add someone to.
Community specific sending email addresses - It is now possible to have a different system email address for sending communications to each of your communities. This is useful for clients with multiple solutions on a single platform who may refer to the system by different names depending on the use. If you allow users to reply to system generated emails this will now allow you to use different mailboxes for different communities. This needs to be configured by Hollaroo so please speak to your Hollaroo contact if you would like to make any updates.
7 days and 1 day before reminders for upcoming events - The system has always triggered an action item to remind people 7 days and 1 day beforehand if they have an upcoming event. However, if an attendee has their summary notifications set to weekly or monthly, they may not have received the email notification for several days. In this release that has been changed so that anyone attending an event will receive their summary notification when the action item is generated.
API Update - It is now possible to use the API to update the profiles of existing users, where security permissions allow. This means that for clients who may be gathering data on a different system, any updates to profiles, such as updates to phone numbers or new experience records, can be reflected in Hollaroo.
